Great shop the only issue is that they need to be open later because there oppening hours allign with the oppening hours of lots of catering buisnesses so it's a struggle to actually get there, please fix this ASAP

Been a Makro customer for well over 30 years but in that time have seen the range of products reduced dramatically, and since being taken over by Booker they have reduced the variety of goods even more. There are no great savings and many items can be purchased as cheap if not cheaper in supermarkets. The cafe is no longer run in-house, it has been farmed out and is now expensive and poor vfm. Butcher and dairy are still good and worth the trip. Good for bulk buying and there are some good deals but the hey day of Makro as we knew it have long since past .

Our company is hosting a little event so thought we’d join and use Makro to keep costs down. Registered online, went to store to be greeted by an old blonde lady at the help desk who was really quite rude and looked at us as if we’d just spat at her. She told us to go to reception, where thankfully, the staff were much more friendly and pleasant. Prices in the store were not cheap at all and eventually we decided it would be cheaper for us to buy from Tesco than Makro on a lot of things. Unfortunately, the grumpy lady we met first was also the last person we met at the checkout and her mood had not improved a lot. She really should get a refund from the charm school she went too. Won’t be going back that’s for sure.
